We are experienced, fully vetted, insured, certified, trusted & most importantly love dogs. We are also happy to provide you with references, if required.
We adore animals, especially dogs!
Welcome to doggy adventures. First and foremost our business was founded out of our passion and love for animals and in particular dogs. Rest assured that whilst your best friend is in our care, they will be treated with the same responsibility and attention as if they were one of our own.
About us
We are thoroughly professional in all aspects of our business and 100% reliable. Try your first walk for free or arrange a free meet and greet (at a social distance). Your dog will always be brought back as clean and as dry as possible, we have portable showers in our vans for emergencies and provide a fresh beach sized towel for each dog. We carry treats (if allowed) and provide poo bags for your dogs. We always dispose of any business in appropriate bins, no matter what.
Your dog will be safe and secure in an individual locked cage with a soft mattress during transit to and from your home and walking locations. They will travel in comfort in a van that is fully ventilated, and fitted with a range of variable sized dog cages. Your dog will always have access to fresh water at all times – before, during and after our walks
Most dog owners would prefer that their dogs get a decent run off the lead and we agree. No dog wants to be attached to a lead when there are interesting things to explore and sniff. You can rest assured that the safety of your dog and the general public around them is our #1 priority. Every dog gets a tracker attached to their collar on our walks. The last thing we want are any incidents, therefore, whilst we will endeavour to let your dogs off the lead at every available opportunity, we promise to only do this when it is safe and when we are in suitable surroundings. Thankfully we know all the best spots and times to go for peaceful quiet walks, where your dog can explore and expend all that energy. * We are fully insured & canine first aid certified.

Before taking your dog on as a client of ours, for both your own piece of mind and ours we like to have a relaxed and informal meeting with you and your pet(s). This is a good chance for you and your dogs to get to know us and see our qualifications, as well as our insurance details. It will enable your dog to start getting some familiarity with us before their first adventure and likewise allow us to learn your dog’s personality and preferences.

FAQ’s
How many dogs do you walk at one time?
We walk a maximum of 5 dogs per person. Giving the dogs as much opportunity as possible to play in a safe environment. Alternatively, you can choose for your dog to be walked alone, so please enquire.
What is a meet & greet session?
Before taking your dog on as a client of ours, for both your own piece of mind and ours we like to have a relaxed and informal meeting with you and your pet(s). This is a good chance for you and your dogs to get to know us and see our qualifications, as well as our insurance details. It will enable your dog to start getting some familiarity with us before their first adventure and likewise allow us to learn your dog’s personality and preferences.
How is pick up and drop off arranged?
We pick up and drop off your dog using our fully fitted, ventilated & equipped dog vans. Due to travel time and picking up the rest of the pack, we will pick up and drop off your dog up to 30 minutes before and after the allotted time. Your dog will always receive its full walk time regardless of journey times.
How is your van equipped?
All of our vans are fitted with secure cages, internal lights, individual seat belts, water bowls, first aid kit and a ventilator system, as well as a ramp for smaller dogs. Any inspection of our vehicles is welcome prior to walks. Your dog will always be brought back as clean and as dry as possible, we have a portable shower in our van for emergencies and provide a fresh beach sized towel for each dog.
Do I need to be home when you collect my dog?
No you don’t need to be present or home. Clients can give us spare keys so we can access the property or leave keys left in a safe/secure place. We will keep your keys safe at all times with no identifying personal information linking them to your home. Should your keys be lost or stolen, we will inform you immediately. Replacement of keys, and a lock change is covered by our insurance. We have completed a Police disclosure checks which you can see during our introduction session.
Where do you walk?
We walk your dog in mixture of parks, woodland trails, and beaches – trying to explore new places where possible, keeping each walk as interesting and fun as possible. Locations are chosen based upon safety, security, quietness, day of the week and the weather conditions. If you have any specific preference for where you’d like your pet to be walked please let us know.
How do I book?
You can book by contacting us by phone, email or via the contact us questionnaire on this website.
Do you let the dogs off the lead?
Yes, this is our preferred way of walking your dog as it gives the dogs far more exercise and enjoyment but most importantly only when safe to do so. We do require you to sign a written consent form beforehand. Generally for the first few walks we will keep your dog on a long training lead so we can test recall and it’s response to our commands. After we are confident in your dogs recall we will let your dogs off the lead on a regular basis.
My Dog has behaviour issues, will you still walk them?
Yes, absolutely we will walk aggressive or reactive dogs but only on solo walks, and on the lead. The owner must also provide a properly fitted muzzle and complete history of past incidents and trigger behaviour. Where possible, we will monitor your dogs behaviour and can in some circumstances train this behaviour out of the dog. Individual training programmes are available.
Do you take bitches in season?
Only by specific arrangement. We do not generally walk bitches in season as we cannot take them in our vans. We can walk your dog but only: solo, on the lead, and in your local neighbourhood. We take no responsibility for any pregnancies, there is always a risk walking a dog in heat in public.
What happens if my dog is injured or there is a emergency?
Our dog walkers have all completed a canine first aid course and carry a dog first aid kit at all times. We will first make immediate contact with you or your emergency contact. Then take your dog to your personal vet if the injury is minor or to the nearest available vet for major injury. We have dog walker insurance and your dog will receive immediate treatment under our policy.
What is your bad weather or cancellation Policy?
Don’t worry, come hail, rain or shine we’ll be there to take your dogs out, unless you advise us otherwise.
If there is ever a situation where the regular walker is unable to attend to take your dog(s) out due to ill health or another emergency, a suitably qualified stand in replacement will be arranged by us and you would be informed of this as far in advance as possible.
*Likewise if your dog cannot make one of our walks for any reason please notify us at least 1 hour prior to pick up to give us adequate time to work around this, or there will be a non cancellation charge of £10 per dog.
Are you fully insured?
Yes we are fully vetted, insured and have liability cover too. During the meet & greet we can show you all our accreditation, policy documents and run through everything that is covered.
